Over the years, a lot of people have asked us what it is we do and how we do it. Hopefully, this Q & A section will answer some of those questions for you.

Q: Which languages do you translate?
| A: We are capable of working in any language you send our way. Whether you are looking for a Malinke interpreter or need typesetting in Khmer, our account managers have access to a network of specialists from around the world. |
| Q: I have never had translation work done before and I’m not sure how to go about it. How can I be sure I’m getting good value for my money? |
| A: LanguageWorks is always happy to supply you with a free detailed quotation for any project. We will also break down the exact costs of all services provided. In addition, we can walk you through the translation process so you will fully understand the variables involved. We will give you the information you need to make an informed decision. |
| Q: We often have very tight deadlines and need to have translations completed within a few hours or overnight. Can you accommodate projects for rapid turnaround with little notice? |
| A: Simply put, when a client needs something completed, we find a way to do it. Our network of translators and editors spans the globe, enabling us to take advantage of the differences in time zones to work around the clock to deliver your translation on time. Whether it is a crucial closing document for a law firm or an important PowerPoint presentation, our clients know they can rely on us time and time again to deliver. |
| Q: Our industry has a technical language all of its own, which outsiders usually misunderstand. When we have had translations completed in the past by other companies they came back almost unreadable. How can we be sure that your translator will understand our written materials? |
| A: We specialize in a wide variety of industries, so we are acutely aware that each has specific vocabulary within an industry context. We have spent years developing an international network of translators in every industry specialization to cover all fields. Furthermore, we are careful when matching translators with client assignments so that we have a team in place that is expert in the industry-specific terminology. |
| Q: There is nothing I hate more than handing a project over to a vendor and not hearing back or getting my calls ignored. How do I know I will not get lost in the shuffle? |
| A: We know the feeling and we will make sure that it never happens to you. Your account manager is your personal contact for the day-to-day management of your project, so he or she always knows its status. Our team is available at any time to answer your questions. |
| Q: I need to have a document translated for a particular country, but I do not know which language is spoken there. Can you help? |
| A: Our account managers come from all over the world and will advise you on which language is appropriate for your target market. For countries where multiple languages are spoken, they will work with you to determine which language or dialect is suitable for the region and the intended audience. |
| Q: Do you certify your translations? |
| A: LanguageWorks will supply notarized certificates of accuracy for all translations we produce, at your request. These certificates attest to our confidence in the quality of our work and will satisfy the requirements of all government offices and courts, in the U.S. and abroad, for certified translations. |
